That's right. The clay in this kit is a self-hardening, air-dry formula. Leave your piece out at room temperature for 24 to 48 hours and it sets on its own. No firing, no special equipment.
No. Da-Blob pieces are for display, not for food or drink. The clay and paint aren't food-safe, so stick to holding photos, trinkets, or other dry items, nothing you'll eat or drink from.
Whatever you can picture. Some ideas to get you started: photo frames, trinket dishes, plant pots, keychain charms, candle holders. First-timers usually start with something small and build confidence from there.
One kit gives you 500g of clay, enough for around 2 to 3 average-sized pieces, like a photo frame plus a couple of smaller trinkets. The exact count depends on how big you go with each piece.
Shaping takes about 30 to 60 minutes. Then the clay air-dries for about a day before you paint and seal it. You don't need to sit and watch it happen.
